Last sat, her grandpa praised her for the fast quit BUT dun know is due to bang dang (superstitious) or not, that night she wet my bed -.-''''' [arrrrrgggg, my dad's 'bad mouth'!!]
Somethimes I really got to believe in old folk's tales , we really cant praise in front of the kid, if not hipcups may happen! Now I have to keep my fingers crossed & wish she can perform what she used to be.....

ReplyDeleteyap, my gal has already quit her diaper totally.
My Mother in law who looks after tian ying in the day, has potty trained her everyday.
She dun let tian ying wear any diaper during the day time. Every hour she will let her sit on the potty & said:" shhh...shhh...sshhh.." to her till tian ying knows that potty needs to be used instead of diaper.
During the potty trained period, i also bring her into the toilet when i need to go & show her how i do mine.
From all these she will have the concept & it did help her alot.
For a little kid, i tik she dun differeniate day & nite time, so during nite time, when she is semi awake, she'll wake me up to bring her to the toliet.
Hopes tis explaination helps u for training Aki. But...it also depends on individual kid, if u try on Aki & she shows no interest then u can try when she's abit older.
Hipcup means accident which u hope it will not happen but it happens. If u praised the kid infront of them, then things will happen in the opposite way. eg u praised her for not weting the bed BUT on the day itself she will wet the bed.
