My Favourite December

Times flies really fast...Dec is here - meaning it's going to end of 2010.

Dec is always one of my favourite month, it's a month when i can work lesser days, do lots of shopping & meet people who we dun see each other oftenly. =)

A Nice Day For...

a swimming (for TY) & a cycling lesson (TY helping).

Brought TY to the pool again for her 2nd 'swim'. This time round, she managed to sit on the 2nd stair in the pool & also slowly adapt to the water. Look @ all the fun she had compared to the 1st time where she only sat on the pool side =)

We met cousin Isabelle @ mum's place in the evening. Tee & TY taught her how to cycle =) Seems like our big sister, TY has done a great job on guiding & helping her how to ride (even though she herself only is 'half a bucket' in riding..hahaha...what a gal of mine)

Have Fun @ Vivo City....

Went to Vivo City today. TY has enjoyed herself & it's a 'fruitful' day for her! 1st, she went straight to Toy'rus after arrived & ask us to get her soft toy of BJ(Barney's friend) + I also bought 2 of her favourite Barney DVDs. Next she got some 'free' rides in Giant after a nice lunch in Crsytal Jade. I bought Macarons to try as many ppl said it nice. I think they are sweet but TY enjoyed the sweetness.

Botanica Garden

I think is due to missing her normal napping time & too much fun to the zoo yesterday, TY had an unexperted early nap today. She requested for her nap after her morning bath around 10am. Yes, 10am.... woke up ard 8am & wanted to sleep again! she said she's tired so requested to have an early nap. So without her breakfast(only a bottle of milk, was preparing to bring her out for breakfast but who knows she's that tired), she slept till 1pm. Since she had charged her 'battery' full, so we planned to bring her to Botanica garden for a walk & after that we'll have our dinner in Tanglin Mall. When we arrived the place, iot started to rain, with no choice, we decided to head to Tanglin Mall 1st while hoping the rain to stop in a couple times...Did some window shopping & had our early dinner. After which, the rain had stop & we head to the garden to have our evening stroll......a cool & breezing timing (after the rain) to enjoy the stroll.....

A Rainy Day

It has been raining cats & dogs the whole afternoon so we had to do indoor activites. Kneaded some colored doughs for TY to stamp some shapes out.

TY was playing this bottle happily the whole day too. She had imagined it as a washing detergent container & kept asking me to wash hand.

Brought TY to mum's house in the morning for breakfast & meet my sil & nephew to go to the zoo together.

TY has enjoyed herself much compare to the 1st time we brought her during her 2nd birthday in May. Maybe is due to she has accompany -Randall. Due to the drizzling, we rented a top covered wangon to push them around. The 2 kids really enjoyed sitting on the wagon while me, mum & sil took turns to push them thru.

Finally...

TY got her 1st passport. Went for the collection this morning & the waiting time is quite fast since we got an appointment before hand, provided the ICA's service is good & rapid. Hope we can have a trip out of singpore soon for the 3 of us, i really need a holiday....

Looking forward....

to my long holidays. I am taking a whole week break from work starting from next week & am looking forward to spend more quality time with TY. Havent really plan what to do during the long weeks but already have in mind of bringing her to the zoo & trying my best to organize more outdoor activities for her(since she's more of an outdoor gal).

My Little Beauty

Well, continue from yesterday's post on ppl always mistaken TY as a boy.... just last sat, my gal got to wear her dress. It's been a year ever since TY wore a dress. Her wardrobe has less than 5 dresses in total, most of her outfits are Ts/blouses/pants/shorts. She is so excited wearing her dress. When I ask her to post in front of my camera, she will do as what i requested (unlike normal days, she will just ignore the camera). My next thing to do in my do list will be buying more dresses for her!

Is she a boy?

TY has a boyish face since baby. I think is due to her single eyelids & her hair volume is less & short. Moreover we always dress her up in Tees & shorts. Even till now, still ppl will ask whether is she a boy? Just recently Randall (my dearest newphew) also comments that TY looks like a boy when I show him my blog header's photo of TY to him. He even c0mments TY has a 'cabbage' hairstyle! Oh Dear, even a 2yrs old boy also thinks that TY looks like a boy (-.-''') , seems like i must doll her up more often in order to make her looks more girly.

Yummy...yummy.....

ice-cream! This is the 1st time TY has really got the tasted of an ice-cream. From the photo shown below, you can tell how much she love it. Remember the last time she got a slip taste of it was when she's ard 9mth old. Warn my sis not to give her as she's too young for it. But ignoring my warning, she gave her a slip & TY ended up with sausage lips! Gosh, I think she's allergy to vanilla, that's why led to sausage lips. From that onwards, we dare not gave her any ice-cream or vanilla products till recently.

After her weekend class, as normal, we head to the cafetery to have our snack. TY saw her daddy eating ice-cream. She ask for it, Tee let her try in order to taste whether she's ok for it or not since she already 2. Few bites later & she seems ok...now she has been enjoying ice-cream like other kids does (but of course we still restrict her from eating).

A Day With The Cousins

We had a great time meeting Karen & her family on friday. It's been a long while since our last gathering, it's always enjoying chatting with them & TY has also enjoyed herself playing with her cousins.

After the gathering, we headed to mum's hse for dinner & KK 's family was there too. Managed to capture a few photos of these 2 gals when both of them are so engrossed to the children's songs vcd (seems like both of them love music)

My Diaper Rider

TY has totally quit her diaper wearing(even for night time) since 2 mths ago. I never expected it to be so fast. As for a normal kid, normally it take times to quit from the day wear to the nite wear. But for TY, is just in a goal. So usually she will wake me up if she need to pee during the nite time(she's sleeping beside me). So far she only missed out 2~3 times & wet my bed.

Last sat, her grandpa praised her for the fast quit BUT dun know is due to bang dang (superstitious) or not, that night she wet my bed -.-''''' [arrrrrgggg, my dad's 'bad mouth'!!]

Somethimes I really got to believe in old folk's tales , we really cant praise in front of the kid, if not hipcups may happen! Now I have to keep my fingers crossed & wish she can perform what she used to be.....

Motherhood

Did a LO on Motherhood. During the journal part, I m thinking hard on what i m going to write. Then I decided to joint down some of my feelings of being an inexperienced mother.

This was what's written :
Motherhood, a journey fills with laughter, comfort, ignorance, stress, gulity, patience, tolerance, sweetness, worry etc

Well, the above feelings are how i felt after being a mother. Little did i know that having a kid, beside those nite owl nites & lost freedom life style, she will give me so much mixed feelings (i know there will be more to come & i have to prepare for it ). Recently i have come to release that i need her accompany more than she need mine.

Anyway all the 'paid out' is worthy, as long as, everyday i can see my cheerful little healthy cutie pie welcoming me back from work & having all her love to be fill up into my time & heart.

On the last paragraph, I have add in: "It's never a regret to walk thru this precious journey but a blissful to enjoy it, especially is together with my sweetie" ; )

Happy Children's Day

Today is the 1st time TY celebrating her children's day. Brought her to participant a coloring event in Esplanade togther with her cousins. This gal of mine seems like she likes to explode the place more than concentrating on her work. Managed to capture some shots of her 'working' time & the rest of the morning, she just want her daddy to accompany her to "explode'' the whole place.

She loves....

xiao long bao (小笼包) alot. Whenever we go town area for shopping , we'll sure end up having our dinner in chinese restaurant like Crystal Jade or Din Tai Fung to have dumplings for her. The average number of dumplings she can eat is ard 3~5pcs. I think she has iherented her papa's food style, both love dumplings alot!
